“Remember those who forget the direction of the path.”
Painting for me is a natural means of expression and therefore spiritual, since I believe that ultimately, we are that: spirit, God. For this reason, I decided to develop this series that I call “The Reverse Journey,” to speak about the path of the human being back to their true essence. For this objective, I use a limited palette of colors, a small expansion of the one proposed by Apelles in his time, incorporating blue and earth green, thus seeking harmonious coherence. I also use a symbolic and bodily language that activates conscious sensitivity but above all our unconscious side, as I believe we are more asleep than awake. I think that human beings have forgotten their origin and have lost themselves in the forest. From Heraclitus with his obscure “Fragments” to the Pythagorean school, they warn us of the importance of knowing what we are and how to live so as not to get lost; these are the Mysteries and their dangers.
